Here are two examples of padded and lined rattle and flute pockets. On the purple bag, the customer requested an attached rattle pocket. The terra cotta flute pocket detachs and becomes a separate carry bag for the flute alone. Or, attached to the drum bag, both instruments travel together.

ALL NEW - The Drum People have teamed up with another Native American small business, which specializes in embroidery. Diane creates awesome totem animal embroidered patches that really dress up your drum bag. Call for a quote on your totem animal. Diane's embroidered patches run from $10.00 for a medicine wheel up to $25.00 for a full scale mountain lion, eagle or very detailed bear. Photographs of Diane's patches will be available soon.
Add a special padded pocket for a flute or rattle to your drum bag: $35.00. I will make a three layer padded pocket that protects your special flute or rattle and allows you to carry it right there with your drum! Customers love this special feature. It is detachable so you can carry just your flute or rattle bag. See a few examples below.
Add more leather fringe to your drum bag: $10.00. I buy only the highest grade of buckskin, so at $4.30/square foot, the only way I can recoup cost is to charge more for extra fringe. There is no extra cost for additional leather on the padded flute or rattle bags.
Diane's Totem Animal Appliques - prices range from $10.00 - $40.00, depending upon complexity. Call for a quote (butterfly, mountain lion, eagle, horse, dragonfly, medicine wheel, bear, turtle, etc.)

We carry a wide variety of canvas solids and Native American prints. We choose heavy duty upholstery fabric so that your drum will have the support and protection it needs.
