This case was designed for a professional man of the Oneida Nation. The bottom is constructed of tough pig hide, and the entire bag is lined and padded. This is a laptop case, but it could also be used as a briefcase. Carrying this beautiful bag definitely makes a statement about a proud heritage. These prices are for the fully HAND-MADE LEATHER BAG. Thousands of holes are punched, the stitching is done by hand and it requires a week of steady labor to complete a completely hand-made leather bag.
We offer a less expensive MACHINE-SEWN leather bag. It is fully lined, has all the fringe and unique look of these bags, but the seams are sewn by machine, reducing our labor costs. Machine Bags are $150 less than the HAND-MADE BAGS. Subtract $150 from above price if machine bag.
Prices for Laptop bags are slightly higher because of the pigskin bottom sewn in to give the bag a solid foundation, and the additional labor and materials involved in construction.

I make a three layer padded pocket that protects your special flute or rattle and allows you to carry it right there with your drum! Customers love this special feature. Your flute/rattle pocket can be attached to the bag permanently or detachable. If it is detachable, you can carry just your flute or rattle bag separately. SEE PHOTOS ABOVE FOR EXAMPLES.

We have had many requests for a leather drum bag. This bag is hand-crafted, with a leather hole punch and hand lacing. It is fully lined and padded, so that the weight of your drum is supported by the interior layer. This way, your leather will not stretch.
We use top-grade deer hide, soft and durable. Leather bags are adorned with bone and glass beads, if the customer wants, at no extra charge! We use decorative stitches in different colors of leather. These bags are truly works of art.
Hole punch, leather needle, leather lacer, scissors and thousands of stitches make this the ultimate bag for a sacred hand drum. Cheryl builds each bag like a piece of buckskin regalia. Using different leather stitches for detail (herringbone, straight line, crosshatch, etc.), makes each bag is truly one of a kind.
